Credits

Here is where I shall list the folks who deserve credit and/or thanks for contributing to this site that didn't otherwise necessarily get a mention elsewhere. This is also where I'll list the sites and services which I've used to build my page.

First of all, the majority of this site is my own work regarding the layout, the html and the scans and screen captures - unless otherwise noted of course. I am only one person and so the growth of the site has been slow. But, without some fans coming forward to give their time, knowledge, and/or files, we wouldn't have the same site for all to enjoy. So following is some individual and general props to those who have answered my call for help throughout the years (in no particular order, of course). Hope I don't forget anyone!

Individual thanks go out to:

My husband and my son...for putting up with my obsession ;)

Marianne Petrino, web mistress of Everyone Comes to Tygra's. Why? Her fics were the first I'd read, which inspired me to tinker with the idea of finally committing my story to pixels. And without her gentle encouragement to go ahead and just write the darn thing, my fic would never have seen the light of day. And without my fic, the site wouldn't exist. Neat, huh?

Cheezey! Her site has been an inspiration for many features on my page from the captioning contest to the music videos, as well as granting generous permission to use certain key images and scripts.

A heartfelt thanks goes out to all the contributors to this site - radric, wolfra, Celesta, thezaxfactor, ThundercatsX, Prokopis, Alluro Fan, RD Rivero, Matt Glenny, David Crichton, and so many others who have offered help, files, and advice.
I'd also like to thank Queen Lynxana and the rest of the crew at EOT for working with me to help share files. Thanks as well to Omicron for tweaking the Kaare Andrews art in the default layout - he extended the sword in the image so it was no longer cut off. Props to his photoshop skills! In addition, thezaxfactor likewise had a hand in the 07 default layout - he made the banner for that design. Thanks! Lastly, thanks to a really cool font made by silvercat I could dress up many of my own graphics in true Thundercat style.
Without your input and contribution, this place wouldn't be what it is today. That goes for each and every person who has posted fan fic, fan art, videos, wallpapers, and more. Thanks! No contribution is ever too small.

I must also give thanks to friend and author Spaced Angel - not only is she a wonderful author with many a great Tcats fan fic under her belt, but she's been a pleasure to work with as a co-writer, and my own work is infinitely better thanks to her influence. I'm definitely flattered she chose this page to post her work to and very happy to have had the pleasure to work with her creatively, and befriend her besides.
She's also been contributing to the UK comics section, which was mighty kind of her!

Hmmm, a few other things should be pointed out as credited for I don't think it's pointed out on the pages of use:
The old images in the original captioning pictures game -- specifically #'s 38-50, are from elsewhere. I know Ray contributed # 30, and Al sent me the rest, although he admitted he got them from other sources. He thought some came from Cheezey's galleries (it'd been awhile since he saved them, and so he wasn't sure). If you see a pic there that you think was from your page or archives, let me know so I can give you full credit.

Slinky Avenger, for making me that great Purrsia avatar I've used on my LJ and countless other message boards/banners. I love it!

Huge, unmeasurable thanks go out to Prokopis and the Gamer's Alliance web site. Without them, I'd not have had a home for the media files when I really needed it. Thanks!

Special thanks go to Kitrakaya for making those wonderful sprites adorning the Links page.

The whole bunch at the TCATGR. You guys are insane and I love ya fer it Thanks for all the good times and side-splitting moments (both literally and figuratively!) For those of you not in the know, join the nuttiness if you dare!

Ted Wolf and everyone else involved in the creation and development of ThunderCats! To state the obvious, without their work there wouldn't be any fan sites. Also thanks to Warner Brothers for not suing the pants off me ^_^
Also many thinks to Larry Kenney, Peter Lawrence, Ford Gilmore, Brett Booth and everyone else on the inside track who have patiently indulged my emails, chat sessions and shared with us their experiences working on the show and other releated projects.

Software and such I've used to help build my page:

*First off, siteground is a pretty swell web space provider. They've got a simply insane amount of space, bandwidth and extras for cheap. It has to be seen to be believed.

*The conversion of the site to php/css based documents was made possible by this wonderful tutorial. If your hosting supports php documents, I recommend setting your pages up this way. That way, when it comes time to make navigation/layout element changes, only one document need be edited to affect an entire directory. It will also shrink the size of your documents, yielding faster load times and saving server space. It's a particular god send if you have a larger site.

*I use FileZilla to upload all my files, HTML-Kit to edit the pages, and PSP8 or Photoshop 7 to do most of my graphics work. Those are the main elements used to create the pages here, along with use of pre-fab script packages like Coppermine galleries to present images, SMF software for the forums, and eFiction for the fic archive.
Otherwise, there's a slew of other programs here and there that I use to help create clips, edit sound files, and so on. Some are found for free online, and others I got courtesy of a good friend, Kith.

*The Java scripts for the games, including Mad Libs, were taken from a site that offers scads of free scripts. I simply modified the scripts to have a ThunderCats theme.

*Most of the music videos were made using Microsoft's Windows Movie Maker. This software came standard with my comp, and I have no idear how much it costs to buy it. But it's a swell program! I've had hours of fun playing around with it.

*The Balkan Jukebox is possible thanks to the good folks at LaunchCast. It's free and fun to customize your own station.

*The VA outtakes were grabbed from Thunderwolf's Grune the Mighty site. They have been floating around various pages on the net for ages, however, and no one I know of seems to know just who made them in the first place. According to Larry Kenney, voice of Lion-O, they are legit. Anyhow, the only thing unique about my hosting a copy of them is that I did go to the trouble of changing them from the larger WAV format to the more compact mp3 format.

*My page counter and stats are from sitemeter. 'Tis free and cool.

*Various icons were made using a dingbats-like ThunderCats font.

*The Mary Sue Drinking Game was inspired by and loosely adapted from a Dragonball Z game.
