Not bad, but not fabulotastic neither

Panthro, Tygra, Cheetara, and Snarf leave the Lair in the Feliner for a flight in space, leaving Lion-O and the Thunderkittens to guard the Lair. While Lion-O isn't looking, Wilykit and Wilykat sneak into the weapons room and "borrow" Panthro's nunchucks, Tygra's bolo whip, and Cheetara's bo staff. It turns out that the kids are tired of being treated like kids and think that if they can show the adult 'cats that they know how to use the adult weapons, then they will get more respect and not be treated like kids anymore.

The kids then go out on their spaceboards to a clearing in the woods to practice with the weapons. While they're having their fun, they are attacked by Slithe, Monkian, and Jackalman. The Thunderkittens manage to put up a decent fight, but quickly find out that they're no real threat to the 3 Mutants. They escape on their spaceboards, but accidentally leave the adults' weapons behind. To avoid Lion-O and the other adult 'cats from being angry at them, Wilykat and Wilykit decide to go to Castle Plun-Darr by themselves to get the weapons back.

They manage to get into the fortress, but are unable to get the weapons back from the Mutants. Fortunately for them, they manage to escape and retreat back to the Lair. Now that their plan to get the weapons back themselves have failed, the kids now have no choice but to tell Lion-O what happened. Lion-O is disappointed, but he puts it aside so he can help the kids get the weapons back. The 3 go to Castle Plun-Darr and manage to break in. Lion-O fights the Mutants while the kids search through all the rooms in the castle for the weapons. However, nobody is able to find the weapons anywhere.

When the Mutants have Lion-O and the kids cornered, Lion-O uses the sword to call the others to his aid. Wilykat then uses his last pellet to make laughing gas, which causes the Mutants to laugh uncontrollably. It then turns out that the Mutants had the weapons hidden on them the whole time. The 3 Thundercats then get the weapons back easily and head outside the castle. Before the Feliner shows up, Lion-O tells the kids to hurry, so that they can have the weapons back in the weapons room before the others get back to the Lair. Panthro and the others show up in the Feliner to help, but it's too late, as the Mutants were already defeated.

Purrsia's Two Cents:

Gee, if only they'd strip searched the Mutants first, all this could have been avoided. And Lion-O covered for the Kittens? And here I was all set to see Panthro just lay into them. Dern it.
