C.H. Trengove Reviewed by: Purrsia ![]() In this episode, Vultureman is up to his inventing tricks. This time he's concocted a potion that affords him super powers - even the power of flight. His first victim is Tygra, who had been out collecting substances to study in his lab. After a brief battle in which Vultureman had a power to counter any of Tygra's, Tygra is frozen in place. Next, Vultureman boldly awakens Mumm-Ra by flying about the Pyramid and tossing large boulders at the structure. Mumm-Ra is enraged by this, obviously, and after transforming into his everliving form he figures he'll show the avian the error of his ways. Trouble is, he couldn't and so Mumm-Ra decides it's in his interest to strike a deal with Vultureman and help him crush the other Mutants and the Thundercats. Of course, being the evil bastards they both are, neither plans to share in the ruling of Third Earth. While Vultureman returns to Castle Plundarr to boss around his comrades, Lion-O, Snarf and Panthro head out to look for Tygra. During the search, Vultureman confronts Panthro. Again, after a battle Panthro proves no match for the super powerful bird mutant. Meanwhile, the Mutants at Castle Plundarr have other plans and begin looking for Vultureman's potion. When they find it, their glee is short-lived when Mumm-Ra swoops in to take it. As Vultureman locates and confronts Lion-O, he's unaware his precious potion is in the wrong hands. Lion-O manages to get the Cat Signal in the air, which unfreezes his friends so they can help. But before they arrive, Vultureman runs out of steam and needs more potion. Enter Mumm-Ra, who taunts him with it. Lion-O seizes the opportunity by using the Sword to zap the bottle, shattering it into a million pieces. Vultureman blames Mumm-Ra for his stupidity, whose response is to disappear uncaring. As the others arrive, Vultureman figures it's best to follow suit. In the final scene Lion-O uses the sword to awaken Snarf who was still under the freezing spell. Me, I would have conveniently 'forgotten' about him >:) Shay Leona: This episode is what really made Vultureman my favorite mutant. He's so loopy it's hilarious. He only gets better and better as time progresses. Dan: It's disgraceful that Mumm was such a pussy in this episode. Capt Shiner: Vultureman proved here why he is not only the finest mutant, but the finest character in the entire series.
