Peter Lawrence Reviewed by: Brandon Tomblin (aka Alluro Fan) Site: TF Archive as Jhiaxus Email: king_sexy18@hotmail.com ![]() Mumm-Ra leaves the Thundercats trapped as he still holds the Treasure Of Thundera. However, once Mumm-Ra is in the air, Lion-O is able to use the sword to make the treasure chest explode, and the treasure scatters all over the planet and Mumm-Ra falls to the ground. Lion-O then frees himself and the others and they rush to Mumm-Ra’s pyramid to free Snarf, Snarfer, and Eggbert and the group of ‘Cats and Snarves leave to rethink their strategy. Elsewhere, when Mumm-Ra comes to, he notices a golden book nearby with the Thundercats’ symbol on it. It is the Book Of Omens. He decides to take it back to his pyramid to try to decipher the weird language that it is written in. Elsewhere, Lion-O is down on himself about how the Thundercats’ luck has been so far on this mission. He even begins to question whether or not he should be the leader when Jaga appears. Jaga encourages Lion-O to not give up and to press onward and that he must find the treasure, etc., etc. Lion-O then has renewed vigor and vows not to give up. Yay. Meanwhile, Slithe and Vultureman arrive on New Thundera in the Rat Star and crash in a swamp. The two exit the ship and start arguing about whose fault it was that they crashed. Just then, Ma-Mutt appears and leads the two Mutants to Mumm-Ra’s pyramid. At the pyramid, Mumm-Ra shows the two Mutants the Book Of Omens. He presents them and Ma-Mutt with the duty of guarding the book from the Thundercats and hiding it in a remote location. Before they leave, Mumm-Ra fills the Mutants in on the dangerous areas on New Thundera and puts a spell on the Mutants and Ma-Mutt to make them immune to the area’s affects. Once the three of them leave, he reveals that he just gave them a fake book and still has the real one. Meanwhile, on Third Earth, Monkian and Jackalman have went to the Lunatacs and told them about how half of the Thundercats are gone and only the Thundernewbs and Thunderkittens are left to keep watch over ‘Cats Lair and the Tower. They are at ‘Cats Lair and the Lunatacs quickly attack it, and Bengali and Wilykit along with it. The two ‘Cats try to fight back, but they quickly fall prey to their attackers and lose. Afterwards, Luna exclaims that the Tower is next. Meanwhile, the Thundercats are flying in the Feliner when they notice that Slithe and Vultureman are on the planet and that they are with Ma-Mutt, guarding a book. They go to chase Team Mummsie, but the group hides in the Caverns Of Cold. Because of Mumm-Ra’s spell, they are immune to the sub-zero temperatures. However, when the Feliner purrsues them inside, the ship instantly freezes up and crashes. The Mutants and Ma-Mutt get out while the getting’s good, leaving the ‘Cats and Snarves to brave the cold. The ‘Cats and Snarves then put on their special thermal suits and journey outside the caverns, only to come upon a lush, beautiful open green land that is surrounded by trees and all that good hippie stuff. For some odd reason, the group decides to have a little R&R and run down the snowy hillside towards the valley. However, halfway down the hill, a field of light surrounds Lion-O and he stops in his tracks. Meanwhile, Panthro, Tygra, Cheetara, Snarf, and Snarfer go down to the field and frolick and play…until they digress into Thundercubs (hence the name of the 5-part adventure I’m reviewing). Lion-O realizes that the sword must have protected him from getting younger (stupid uber tool does everything). The Thundercubs can hardly remember who they are, let alone remember Lion-O or the mission they’re on. Lion-O keeps trying to convince them of the danger they’re in, but they’re none too convinced. The signal in the sword goes off to warn Lion-O that something has happened. He uses his sight beyond sight and sees that the Lunatacs, Monkian, and Jackalman have captured the Thundernewbs and Thunderkittens and are holding them prisoner at Sky Tomb, along with the Berbils and other assorted Third Earth people. Back in the pretty field, the Thundercubs have found a flute (for the love of God) to play with. Whenever they play it, little Snarf and Snarfer go into a stuper and become slaves to the player of the flute. However, since the Thundercats are now kids, they have some fun with this, until Ma-Mutt shows up and attacks the group and Lion-O. Ma-Mutt knocks Lion-O out with his horrible dog breath. Before he can go in for the kill, little Panthro plays the flute they found and it makes Ma-Mutt leave them alone. When Lion-O comes to, he decides to use the sword to make the Thundercubs have at least some of the understanding of their adult selves. He then explains to them that they must take the Feliner back to Third Earth to rescue all the captives from the Lunatacs while he stays behind to fight Mumm-Ra. The little ones agree and begin to get the vessel prepared for take-off. After the little ‘Cats board the Feliner, Snarf decides to stay behind with Lion-O. When the others get ready to leave, Ma-Mutt attacks Lion-O again. Mumm-Ra appears immediately thereafter in his Ever-Living form and decrees that the little ‘Cats won’t leave New Thundera alive. Ma-Mutt's breath is so bad it knocks you out...now that I can believe. The little flute was such a gimmick but OMG! The Snarves for once aren't immune!! *faints* Shay Leona: Panthro looked horrendous as a child, GOODNESS!He looked like...I can't even compare him to anything else, At least he grew out of that awkward stage, UGH ! cisse melo: gostei 5 partes de thundercubs e são optimo. Panthro, Chertara e Tygra são jovens e engraçadinhos
