ThunderLibs

I've only a few stories so far, but I hope to create more soon. If you'd like to submit a Mad Libs story to be published here, email it to me. Original compositions or spoofs of existing tales are both acceptable.

Hilarious Hall of Fame:

I've also made an archive of some of the funnier results of folks filling in those blanks. If you've done a libs you think is a particualr gut-buster, email it to me and I'll post them in the Hilarious Hall of Fame.

Parts of Speech Crash Course:

Don't remember what the fancy-schmancy terms mean for the words we say every day? Here's a brief Guide. Noun: Person, place, or thing. (e.g. girl, city, banana) Many times, I'll ask specifically for a person's name, a place, or thing to narrow things down.

Verb: Usually an action word. (e.g. run, catch, jumping, smacks, belched. I usually ask for which tense of the verb I'm looking for by denoting -ed or -ing)

Adjective: A descriptive word. (e.g. ugly, green, huge)

Adverb: Generally a term that ends in -ly and describes how the action in a sentence is being done. (e.g. slowly, quickly)

Preposition: A word such as over, under, in, out, etc
