Wolverton's Page The following is where I will write my diary concerning Wolverton :) Hello! Purrsia, here. (1/24/02) This is my newly adopted son. :-) His name is Wolverton, and he is a 6 month old wolf mutant pup. Isn't he cute?? You may be thinking....cat adopts dog?? Yikes! But honestly, I believe the cat/dog rivalry thing is overblown. Besides, Wolverton has been nothing but a joy since I've brought him home to my lair. He sleeps through the night and eats like a champ, though keeping a supply of wolf milk on hand is a challenge. He seems happy here, as he smiles a lot. And he's pretty low maintenance. I usually just hold him while I weave my tales about my ThunderCat friends (so if my typo ratio increases in the upcoming chapters, you'll know why). Although that's probably going to change in the near future, as he acts as though he's eager to start crawling. His main mode of mobility at the moment consists of rolling around, which gets the job done but it doesn't look too comfortable. I'll be sure to keep you updated on Wolverton as I get to know my new son :-) (7/29/02) It's Wolvie's birthday! And what better way to spoil him than to stop by the store and buy him a few presents! At a year old, I stayed away from the spaceboards and opted for a cute Berbil ball (Yes, I'm teaching him to bat around those robotic bears at a young age!) and a ThunderCat rattle (Nope, not to soon to start indoctrination either ;) Wolverton's really grown since last I wrote. He's walking now...okay, well he falls down more than he actually stands on his feet, but you get the idea! He's completely weened from the bottle, too, thanks to those razor sharp teeth he has coming in. I took one look at the shredded nipples on his bottles and thanked the stars at that moment that I'm *not* his natural mother. Sheesh! And ouch, too! And he's also said his first word. He has a favorite stuffed bear he carries around and refers to it as "bobo" which, in toddler speak means bear. heehee. CARE TO ADOPT?Visit the Adamante Adoption Agency to adopt a child of your own. There's all varieties of cubs and children to choose from, so give a kid a cyber home, will ya? |
