Soundtrack Credits And Commentary
Era Two

For those of you interested in the music that accompanies the fic, here's a little supplement. On this page, you'll find full song credits, youtube video links whenever available, as well as a bit of insight into my reasoning for choosing the songs. :-) (Thanks to legal concerns, I'm no longer posting the entire song lyrics on this page...if you really wanna know, google 'em!)

Chapter Thirty One: A New Decade - The Verve
Words and music by The Verve
From the 1995 album A Northern Soul.

The title was fitting of the time skip in the story - fast forward a decade since the Thundercats arrived on Third Earth - plus the lyrics were fitting of Jax's drifting days, for the most part.

Chapter Thirty Two: Heavenly Nobodies - Lush
Words and music by M. Berenyi
From the 1996 album Lovelife.

The Thundercats learn you can go home again, sort of - but not everyone back "home" necessarily wishes for their return. The song covers the idolizing of heroes and celebrities, which seemed fitting of the storyline.

Chapter Thirty Three: The Slim - Sugar
Words and Music by Bob Mould
From the 1992 album Copper Blue.

Just when the Thundercats think there's slim chance their world could be turned upside down by the greatest of tragedies, it is. One of them leave us and the rest are left behind to grapple with the loss, which is exactly what the song deals with.

Chapter Thirty Four: Your Ghost - Kristen Hersh
Words and music by Kristen Hersh
From the 1994 album Hips and Makers.

Hauntings are never easy, on the living or the dead.

Chapter Thirty Five: Shadow Play - Joy Division
Words and music by Joy Division
From the 1979 album Unknown Pleasures.

Even a lost soul can get stuck in a rut.

Chapter Thirty Five Co-Theme: On Your Own - The Verve
Words and music by The Verve
From the 1995 album A Northern Soul.

This song seemed to sum up the emotion of the storyline so far, so it got added.

Chapter Thirty Six: Put It Behind You - Keane
Words and music by Keane
From the 2006 album Under the Iron Sea.

Indeed it is time to move on.

Chapter Thirty Seven: Vision Valley - The Vines
Words and music by The Vines
From the 2006 album Vision Valley.

The future takes vision, but Cheetara doesn't like what she sees.
