Lion-O's Profile

Lion-O
Lion-O: Lord of the ThunderCats
Age: 20, although he aged from 12 to 20 during the space journey from Thundera. My theory is this was due to his suspension capsule malfunctioning, and so he aged more than he should have....how convenient! Also, I really don't know how I came up with 20...if I did the math according to the show, he'd be more like 22 post-statis. Oh well, I never claimed that math was my strong suit!
Sex: Male
Species/Race: Thunderian Lion
Alliance: Good Guys

Appearance: See Picture

Weapons/Skills/Powers: He was given the source of the ThunderCats power, contained within the Sword of Omens, to use and protect. The young Lord is also the only Tcat who can see and hear his deceased mentor, Jaga, when he doles out advice from the great beyond. Lion-O is a little green when it comes to his abilities as a leader as well as a kinda inept decision maker, but ah well. Nobody's perfect, not even our hero. Of course, his chiseled good looks make up for his lack of maturity...in another life he was most likely a Chippendale dancer ;)

Background: His mother having died when Lion-O was a toddler, he was completely orphaned upon Thundera's destruction given that Lord Claudis stayed behind to guide the flag ship off the dying planet. So at the tender age of twelve, Lion-O was faced with taking over as the ThunderCat Lord. He proved his worth to lead beyond his heredity when he successfully passed the traditional Anointment Trials.
As far as the ThunderCats know, they are the only known survivors of their kind. Though, upon finding Felina, they have hope that others escaped.

As Lion-O tries to deal with the immense responsibility that was dumped in his lap, he must quickly train his mind to catch up with his age advanced body. Not only must he lead the ThunderCats in their struggle to spread the Code of Thundera, but he must also lead the fight to avoid complete extinction at the hands of the Mutants and their new ally, Mumm-Ra.
