Some ficcish updates:
*Finally updated Signal in the Sky. In Spaced Angel's sudden and long absence, Knight Writer has taken up co-writer duties so welcome aboard!
*In a related bit, updated the timeline and cliff notes for SITS.
*Lastly, updated the links page with a great new Lunatacs site, which also made the Featured Site of the Month.

At any rate, still working on the fic archive issue. There's still a lot of bugs in this version (for example, even though SITS updated a chapter it doesn't look like it glancing at my profile and I was unable to add Knight Writer as a co-author), but I'm holding out hope SMF will make a transfer of eficiton database possible. I keep checking in the meantime for a meaningful fix at efiction and have had no luck. I'll keep working at it.
For now, I have to pay attention to my Voltron site for a while. In the meantime I hope you all check out the Fandom Awards - nominations will start soon!

First update of the new year and a proper content one at that!
The Show Section:
*Gave The Cast page a once-over and updated any links - discovered some interesting finds so it's worth checking out. But I was also sad to see some sites gone. Page got some minor reformatting, too.
*The interview section has been added to with a generous donation from TCL.org's Nick Mills. He gave permission for me to host two of his audio interviews along with his Thundercats documentary. More of these types of interviews - some featuring first-time fan interviews with folks such as Peter Newman (Tygra) and Lynne Lipton (Cheetara) can be discovered by checking out TCL.org. Those guys are running with this concept and doing a fantastic job, so watch that space!
*Finally found a suitable script to thwart spam, so Fan Review Episode Guide is slowly gaining back its comment feature. First several eps have the new system installed along with a text archive of the old comments. In addition, I've started cross-referencing that guide with other related resources (mostly on-site) *plus* going over and editing to try to match canon spellings of terms when possible. Needless to say, bear with me as this project's going to be tedious!
*Also in the ep guide section, the Keeping Up Appearances feature finally returns. Took a long time to fact check and info-gather, and then even longer to find a suitable script to deliver all the information without stretching the page clear out to the Astral Plane. Just the ThunderCats are up for viewing, but now all I have to do is put the info into the pagination script for the others, so expect more stuff in that area each update.
*FYI, all the galleries - save for Fan Art - are now set not to accept new members due to too many spammers joining. If you want to join the Capture Gallery or Merchandise Gallery, gimme a shout. Just got tired of having to clear out the crap with few legit members joining anyway. Thanks.

Downloads Updates:
*Thanks to an alert visitor, fixed the Clips page menu to get rid of a non-working link.
*Be sure to check out the new Wallpapers.

Fanon Updates:
*Been doing maitanence on the Soundtrack Petition - pruning unconfirmed sigs and running regular db backups. Please sign if you have not done so yet. We've got almost 1,000 legit sigs!
*Both the fic and art archives have seen some regular activity. Do go check it out of you haven't been by in a while.
However, the fic archive - which is run on efiction software - has hit a snag with the last upgrade. So I am looking into another option. See the current fic archive's news blurb for more on that as well as a sneak peek at an early beta installment of a possible new software. Feel free to let me know what you think!
As for SITS, I am working on a new installment which will probably be ready to go for next update. It will feature a new co-writer in Knight Writer. I have not heard from Spaced Angel in over a year and miss her terribly. I do wish her well and hope she is safe and happy wherever she is. As for the story, it's with mixed emotion that I move on with a new partner. Wish us luck.
*It's that time of year where we're gearing up for the 2008 fandom awards. Our committees are in place and we hope to start nominations in February. Please visit the previous link to learn more and about how to join the Yahoo Group and participate.

In Fun Stuff:
*Jen was cool enough to donate some TC themed games for our enjoyment, including a great crossword. Been wanting to customize a script like that for ages. Thanks, Jen!

*At long last, the guestbook has returned! In addition to a new script to leave your comment, I have archived past guestbooks there which can make for a fun read. Or maybe ya had to be there!

*Finally! ThunderLinks got an update - all links were checked and either updated or pruned out. New links were added, and the feature link was updated. Can't wait for next update, because there's a new Tcats site coming out that'll be fun for all. Watch that space.
I hope to be updating with a bit more frequency than in the past sixth months, but I can't promise. Still working full time and very busy. Til then, take care.
